Between October 2025 and March 2026, M-WOW organized three workshops at Hamari Pahchan in Mahipalpur, New Delhi, where we explored fundamental topics surrounding menstrual health.
During our first session in October 2025, we spoke about the menstrual cycle in detail – different phases, hormonal changes, understanding what is healthy and what isn’t, and menstrual health concerns such as PCOS. After the initial conversation, we sat down with the participants for an exercise to map period cycles.
We returned for a second workshop at Hamari Pahchan in 2025, where we dived into a detailed discussion about an important yet often overlooked concern: myths surrounding periods. By debunking popular myths about menstrual health, we then initiated a candid chat on menstrual hygiene. This was followed by our third session in March 2026, where we spoke about PCOS, PCOD, and other menstrual disorders, creating a safe space to talk about how we can observe bodily signs better.
From October 2025 to January 2026, M-WOW raised INR 81,000 to support Hamari Pahchan's ongoing work to improve menstrual hygiene and menstrual health awareness for women and girls from socioeconomically underserved communities in Delhi-NCR.
In the summer of 2026, M-WOW organised a workshop cum check-up camp at Hamari Pahchan. Over 30+ young girls and women attended the camp, receiving pro bono consultation from an experienced gynecologist. Along with this, we discussed dispelling pervasive stigmatic myths and common misconceptions about menstrual health. M-WOW also donated sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene products to the attendees after their check-ups.
